Ruining Christianity
Christian worship attendance among Americans between 39-57 fell from 41% in 2020 to 28% in 2023. This level of attendance now matches the Millennials, historically, the generation least likely to attend a church at least once a month. In their forthcoming book, The Great Dechurching, authors Jim Davis, Michael Graham and Ryan Burge cite reasons as culturally unpopular stances on social issues, and partisan political rancor and division. Morals and Values Don't Matter Anymore
With the rise of "Christian" nationalism, evangelicals have abandoned the teachings of Christ, adopted a false prophet in Donald Trump who has broken 9 of the 10 commandments and bragged about killing someone and getting away with it. Lying no longer matters, as does adultery, hypocrisy, and political activities by churches and their leaders.
The G.O.P. needs a cleansing
Numerous Republican office holders and leaders such as Liz and Dick Chaney publicly are supporting Harris/Walz. Many of Trump's former cabinet and officials and even his own VP candidate at one point deplored him.
